Fan Plan

Away Games
Each school has to consider their facilities and capacity to host fans, prioritizing home fans. Most gyms and fields will not accommodate fans from the visiting team. Schools will inform us of their capacity to host away fans as game dates approach, and we will let team parents know first if they will be permitted. Thank you for your understanding and patience and especially for your support of our student athletes. We’ll be sure to livestream all the games for fans who cannot attend in person. Go, Braves!

Home Games
The operating plan at this time is to allow each student-athlete four guests to our home games. It is possible we may be able to allow additional fans at home games later this fall after some of the restrictions are lifted. We will keep you posted. Thanks!

Eligibility

We’ll check athletes’ grades every week to verify they are eligible for athletic participation. We’ll check for Ds and Fs on Monday after each weekend and will notify students that day if they are ineligible. Any student with a grade below a C will have until Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. to get their grades above a D. Any student who has a D or F after Wednesday afternoon will not be eligible to play that weekend of competition. Parents and students can check student grades through the Infinite Campus portal any time to verify one’s academic standing.

Impact Concussion Testing

We perform a baseline test before the sports season begins and send it to the Sports Concussion Specialists of Nevada. If an athlete gets a concussion at any time during the year, they must take a second test to be cleared to return to athletic competition. There is a yearly $5 fee per student for this service.
