Owyhee Combined School Spelling Bee for Grades 1-6 is on January 24 beginning at 8:30 AM. 1st-3rd will spell at 8:30 and 4th-6th are scheduled to start at 9:30 AM in the Music Room.

The high school basketball teams travel to Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe area to participate in the Whittell basketball tournament. Play begins Wednesday and goes to Saturday. Go Braves!

Junior High basketball finals are this weekend. The girls made it to #6 in the gold bracket and the boys just missed but are #1 in the silver. Go Junior Braves!

Braves Basketball schedule for 2023-24

The Holiday Craft Fair, sponsored by FCCLA, is set for December 1 & 2 from 10 AM to 5 PM in the Crawford Gym. Come browse and do your Christmas shopping. There will be breakfast burritos by Voda and Bingo by the Bravettes.

Don't forget to get your Braves Blanket by Friday, December 1 for the presale price of $70.

The Owyhee Braves and Lady Braves are set to play in the WREC Basketball Tournament this week in Wells and Carlin. Our schedule is shown. Next week the teams will go to Whittell for another basketball tournament.

The Class of 2026 is having a Christmas basket raffle, tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. The raffle will be held December 18. Sophomores are requested to bring donations of candy, goodies, gloves, needed winter items, etc., plus $2 to pay for the ham.

The regular monthly Title VI meeting is today, November 20. The agenda is for today, the date shows October.

Thanksgiving Holiday is this week. We have an early out on Wednesday and school will not be in session Thursday and Friday. Enjoy your holiday.
