The Owyhee Combined School will observe Presidents Day and will not be in session. We will return to school Tuesday, February 17. We will not be in session on Friday February 20.

A send off assembly will be held Thursday, February 12 at 2:30 PM in the gym. We will be sending off Aidan Hanchor for Wrestling and the Lady Braves and Braves basketball teams. Please join us tomorrow.

Please use the high school entrance as the main entrance for all school business. You may park by the high school. All other doors will remain locked.

Information for you about the return trip if your child went to the Cowboy Poetry Festival.

The Braves After School Education (BASE) Program starts next week after school until 5:30 PM. Registration forms have been sent out.

There will be one bus for after school on Wednesday, January 28 (due to other trips). There will be no West of the River drop offs. We apologize for any inconvenience.

On Tuesday after school we will load the buses on the west side (behind the school close to the bus yard), due to the basketball games. Please do not enter by GBC until after the buses depart. Thank you.

Next week is Winterfest for the Braves. Each day will have dress up themes and activities. We are still planning the assembly, keep an eye out for the post. Go Braves!

Owyhee Combined School spelling bee is scheduled Wednesday, January 21 starting at 9 AM.

This morning, a fire alarm was pulled at Owyhee Combined. Since then, it has gone off a few more times due to a malfunction. Our facilities team is aware and working on it. We’ve decided to continue with school as usual. If anything changes, we will update you by phone and text.
Due to athletic trips we have the following changes: 2 bus routes for the afternoon on Wednesday, December 10. We will have 1 bus Thursday afternoon, with no West of the River service that day after school. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Jingle and Mingle Family Reading Night is Tuesday, December 9 at 6 PM. Check-in at the elementary lobby.

The Annual Holiday Program is set for Wednesday, December 17 at 6 PM in the gym. We have grades Pre-K - 6th grades plus some special performances scheduled. Students will receive gifts from the Bob and Sandra Ellis Foundation at this time.

We have many reading activities planned for the Jingle & Mingle Reading Night on Tuesday, December 9. It starts at 6 PM and will be in various areas with check-in in the Elementary lobby.

We will have one bus for Idaho and Newtown Subdivision on Wednesday, November 26. We will have the West of the River route. Remember we have an early out on Wednesday--students are released at 1:55 PM. Enjoy your holiday.

We will have a send off today at 9 AM for cross country and volleyball. Cross country will be in Reno and the volleyball team is going to regionals at Eureka in 3rd place. They will face Lund at 11:30 A.M. PST.
