HS Track season is beginning, first practice is Monday, February 24 at 4 PM. Last day to join is February 25.
Send off for the state finals will be tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM in the parking lot. The teams will load up 7-7:30 and depart promptly at 8 AM. Go Braves!

We will have two buses for the both the AM and PM routes this week, February 19-21. Friday is a regular school day.
OHS will have its Winter Senior Recognition on Friday February 7 during the last home games of the season again McDermitt.
Owyhee Seniors Nicolas Gartiez, Alaisjah Sam and Hubia Abel were selected as the AAA Students of the Week for Academics, Athletics and Artistic and will be published in the Elko Daily Free Press.
Wrestler Kiowa Smartt took 3rd place at the 21 Northern Region Wrestling competition. He will go on to the state finals. Send off will be Thursday at 1 PM.
Academic Awards will be Thursday, January 23 in the gym and will begin at 8:30 AM. Everyone is welcome, please come and celebrate our students successes.

We will have 2 bus routes all day Tuesday, and Thursday the 19th we will have 3 buses in the AM and 2 in the afternoon. Wednesday we should have all 3 routes.

Christmas Break is from December 23 - January 2. School resumes January 6, 2025. Early out is December 19 and we will follow a shortened schedule.
