Elko County School District is partnering with Raising Highly Capable Kids to offer a free, 13-week parenting course in Elko, Jackpot, Owyhee, Wells, and West Wendover.
The course will be taught by our own ECSD school professionals and is open to parents and guardians with children enrolled in ECSD—at no cost.
We’re still finalizing dates for each community and would love to hear what days and times work best for you. Elko County School District is sharing information from the Nevada Department of Agriculture and the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) about Summer EBT, a federal grocery benefit of $120 per eligible child to support families during the summer months.
Important Notes:
If your child is already eligible through programs like SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid, benefits will be automatically issued to your existing household EBT card.
If you know you qualify, no action is needed-this message is for your information only.
If your family needs to apply, applications open May 17 at www.AccessNevada.nv.gov.
